What we collect

When you book a session or sign a waiver, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. During booking we also collect health screening responses (heart conditions, pregnancy, circulation problems, medications) and your waiver signature.

If you pay by credit card, your payment card details are collected directly by our payment processor (Helcim) and never touch our servers.

If you arrive through a partner's link, a small cookie remembers which partner sent you, for up to 30 days, so we can credit them. It holds only the partner's name, not anything about you, and we don't use it to follow you anywhere else. If you arrive through an instructor's link, a second small cookie remembers which instructor sent you until you close your browser, so we can credit them for the class you book. It holds only the instructor's name, nothing about you.

Why we collect it

Your contact information lets us confirm bookings and send session details. Health screening responses let our staff keep you safe in the heat and cold. Your waiver signature records your informed consent to participate.

Who sees it

Only SSC staff see your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.

Service providers

We use the following processors to operate the booking system. Each receives only the data it needs.

Retention

Booking records and signed waivers are retained for the duration required by British Columbia law. Contact information is kept while your account is active and deleted on request.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing secretsaunacompany@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
